Dear Lions Clubs of A15 - please share with your Lions members

For nearly four decades, the Lions International Peace Poster Contest has given children ages 11-13 a meaningful opportunity to express what peace means to them through art and words. Each year, Lions clubs around the world sponsor this contest in schools and organized youth groups, encouraging creativity, reflection, and global understanding among young people,

We are respectfully requesting your support to help keep these important programs running. Could you please share with your members at your next Lions club meeting. Donations are needed to support both the A15 Peace Poster and Essay Contest as well at the Multiple District (MDA) Peace Poster program.

Your contribution directly supports youth engagement, program materials, judging, and awards ensuring these opportunities remain available for future generations. Thank you for your consideration. If you have any questions I would be happy to answer them.

If you would like to donate you can send your donation to the A15 Cabinet Treasurer please mark which program you would like to support on your cheque.

Lions International Peace Poster Contest 2025-2026

The Lions International Peace Poster Contest is an international contest that encourages children, ages 11 to 13, to creatively express what peace means to them. The 2025 - 2026 contest theme is "Together as One". This contest allows students to share their unique images of peace with others, so that we may all have greater tolerance and international understanding.

It is that time of year again to start thinking about the peace poster contest. I have peace poster kits to hand out (these kits are free to clubs)

THE 2025-2026 CONTEST - Together As One

When we come together, we can do amazing things. This year, we are inviting students around the world to envision what can happen when a diverse group of people unites around a common cause or goal. Imagine a world where we all come together as one!
