The deadline to submit photos for the MDA Environmental Photo Contest is just over a month away, and I have received a paltry amount of entries from our A-15 Lions! The good news is that there is very little competition if you wanted to sneak your photos in now! Be that big fish in the little pond, and potentially win a prize! Just as a reminder, here are the contest details: There are two different contests that can be entered this year, and all you need to do is take a picture of one (or both!) of the following things: Our Natural Environment
The prize: $100 dollars to the winning Lion, and $50 for the runner-up. Lions in Environmental Service
The prize: $100 dollars to the winning Lions Club, and $50 for the runner-up. It's really that simple! If you want to enter the contest, submit your photos to me by March 29, 2025 so that they can be printed and presented at the A15 Convention in April for voting. You can submit your photos digitally by responding to this email, or you can submit a printed photo (8" x 10", or 20.3cm x 25.4cm) through the mail re. the Environmental Photo Contest to The Freelton Lions Club, 390 Freelton Road, Freelton, ON, L0R 1K0, or contact me (Allanah) and we can figure out an in-person drop-off location.
