Subject: Thank You for Supporting LCIF - There’s Still Time to Make an Impact
Dear Lions,
Thank you to all the clubs that have generously donated to LCIF this year. Your support is vital-without clubs like yours, the reach of Lions' humanitarian efforts around the world would be limited.
Your contributions help LCIF address some of the world's most urgent challenges - childhood cancer, hunger, diabetes, disaster relief, environmental sustainability, youth empowerment, vision care, and much more.
While we have not yet reached our district goal this year, there is still hope, just like in all our Lions' service projects, where every effort counts and together we make a difference.
We are also proud to share that LCIF provided a $150,000 USD grant this year in support of the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides - a cause close to home.
If your club has not yet made a donation this year, I encourage you to join your fellow Lions by contributing through the Lions of Canada Fund for LCIF, ensuring proper Canadian receipting.

When you are asked to give money at the checkout, a phone call, or a solicitation letter in the mail, how much do you know about the Charity? You think you are helping but when you are mindful, you may realize that your money could do better. Does the Charity align with your values?
By donating to LCIF through the Lions of Canada Fund for LCIF, all money donated goes directly to the cause. Did you know that charities use money for administration purposes and investment purposes? This could be 28 cents on the dollar, and this is a reasonable rate for Canadian Charities.
Our District has been asked to donate $37,200.00 this lion’s year.
If every Lion in the District committed to $10.00 a month, the foundation would realize $154,920 for the great work of the foundation. Please consider donating.
Our District has received a grant of US$150,000 for the Guide Dog Facility in Oakville this year
Tony Davidson, District LCIF Coordinator
Dear Lion,
We extend our deepest gratitude to Lion Stan Durward, past district governor, for his 13 years of dedication as administrator of the Lions of Canada Fund for LCIF. Under his leadership, the fund grew from a few thousand dollars to a multimillion-dollar project.
Thank you, Lion Stan!
