KEOUGH, William Joseph
1928-2021

Passed away suddenly from complications of CHF at the Guelph General Hospital on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at the age of 92 years. Beloved husband of Doreen (Killock) Keough. Proud father of Leona (Grant) Thomas of Brantford and Lorinne (Joe) Keough of London. Proud grandfather of Kerrin (William), Caroline (Ryan), Cecelia (Riley), Kimberly, and Coral. Dear brother of Joan, Loretto, Kathleen, Geraldine, Cecile, Elizabeth and Bruce. Predeceased by his parents Margaret (Buffalo, NY) and Leo (Rockwood). Also, siblings Robert, Mary, Francis, Leola and Patricia. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and their families. Bill’s life included 30 years’ service with the Canadian Army and Navy, over 30 years of working and volunteering with St. Joseph’s Health Centre and volunteered 30 years’ service as a Royal City Lions member. Lion Bill served with the Guelph Royal City Lions Club since 1988 and was a valued member of the Lions family.

Friends may call at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Thursday, October 7, 2021, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a funeral service on Friday in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 a.m. Please call the funeral home at 519-824-0031 to register your attendance.
