With deep sadness we share the news that our beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away at Hilltop Manor in Cambridge, Ontario, on Tuesday May 18th, 2021 in her 90th year. Donald, her beloved husband of more than 67 years, was by her side.

Charlotte was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Harriet Pozer, loving mother of David Gamble (Suzanne), Mark Gamble (Sylvia), and grandmother to Benjamin (Amanda Campagna), Kathryn (Shea Dougherty-Gill), Tait and Grayden. She was the dear sister of Gordon Pozer (Barbara) of Saint-Georges de Beauce, Quebec, and was predeceased by her brothers Randall, Bruce, Dale and John Pozer.

Charlotte was born in Montreal, but grew up in Saint-Georges de Beauce, Quebec, later moving to Granby, Quebec in 1951, where she met Don and spent many years there raising their boys. They moved to Cambridge, Ontario in 1981.

Beyond her family, Charlotte's life's work was community service. She was a supporter and member of the Lions Club for decades. She worked closely as an active partner in service with Don -- and what a team they were. As a fundraiser, she was recognized for her eight years raising $31,000 and knocking on hundreds of doors in Cambridge for the Cancer Relay For Life.

Charlotte worked as a book-keeper at Imperial Tobacco, Dubé et Loiselle and Colloids in Granby. In Cambridge, she worked for 25 years in 10 federal and provincial elections, serving five times as Deputy Returning Officer.

The Gamble Family would like to thank the staff at Hilltop Manor for their loving care and support. Special thanks as well to the personal support workers who helped Charlotte for over two years while she was still at home -- especially to Clair Mainwaring whose dedication will always be remembered.

A memorial service for Charlotte will be held at a later date when COVID-19 restrictions allow. Charlotte believed in helping others so in lieu of flowers, donations made to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
