William “Howard” Perriman

A long-time resident and friend to the farming and area community, passed away peacefully at Woodstock General Hospital, on Friday March 5, 2021 at the age of 81. Beloved husband to Lorraine (nee Barclay); cherished dad to Jennifer Jensen (Jack), Diahann Smith (John), Michael (Caroline), Sarah Burke (Jason), Janet Morel (Jamie), and Ian (Kristin); loving grandfather to 15 adoring grandchildren: Shelby, Chelsey, Richard, Robert, Emma, Ben, Charlotte, Finn, Eli, Alyssa, Ariana, Grace, Joshua, Jacob and Isaac. Will be greatly missed by his sister Laura Ritchie and brother Ron (Mary); Lorraine’s siblings, Harle Burnett (Andrew), Margaret Shearer (Bill) and Delmer Barclay (Stella) and extended family. Predeceased by his parents, William James Perriman and Clara May Brown; his siblings Stan (Ada), Ken (Betty), Norm (Eleanor), brother-in-law, David Ritchie, niece Linda Ritchie and Lorraine’s son Richard.

An honest and generous person who believed that newer or bigger didn’t always mean better. Howard’s love and commitment to his friends and family was steadfast; he was also a man intensely dedicated to his word and friends. Howard was known as the man to call when a piece of International Harvester Equipment needed repaired. Always willing to go out of his way to make sure every job was done right and put you back into the field. Howard was a committed and longtime service member in the Scouts Beaver Program, “Hawkeye” to many, as well as the Drumbo Lions Club for which he will be sadly missed.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be held at a future date; the time and place will be announced closer to the day.
Howard's wife and kids would like to thank the wonderful nurses in the CCU and palliative care at Woodstock General Hospital for their care, kindness and compassion.

Donations to the Drumbo Lions Club or Heart and the Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
Online condolences and donations may be arranged through www.wmkippfuneralhome.com or by contacting WM. KIPP 519 442 3061.
