Lion Ray Edworthy, Lynden Lions Club

We are sad to report the recent passing of the last surviving charter member of the Lynden Lions club Mr. Raymond Edworthy. Ray enjoyed an active healthy life until quite recently. Ray was in his 99th year.
Ray is survived by his wife Marie and son Goldie. He was predeceased by his other son Larry.
As a charter member (1957) he was instrumental in its formation and he provided a stabilizing influence through out the years since. Ray held many positions in the club including president in his active years.
Ray and Marie were active members of the community and long time members of the Lynden United Church.
