Ronald Charles Butwick
Peacefully, and surrounded by family, Ron passed away at Margaret's Place Hospice in Dundas on November 8, 2023, in his 83rd year of life.

Ron leaves behind his loving wife and friend Pat of 64 years. His daughters Kim (Andre), and Rebecca (Steve), and his beloved grandchildren Paige (Austen), Maxim, Michael, and Jake.

Dear brother of Jeanne, Jim, Karen (Frank), and Rick (Kathy), and brother-in-law to Sue (Ossie). Predeceased by his sisters-in-law Jan and Barbara. Ron also leaves behind many nieces and nephews to mourn his loss.

Ron and Pat were the owner/operators of Butwick Orchards in Carlisle for 60 years. He farmed and provided a community service to many families and school children providing them with an on-farm experience surely to be remembered.

Ron leaves behind many friends, vacation companions, and people he met through his years of community service in the Flamborough community. He and Pat travelled the world and enjoyed many excursions, always making friends who would become family and leaving behind pleasant memories of time spent and adventures explored.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday November 17, 11:00 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 715 Centre Road, Waterdown, with reception to follow in the Parish Hall.

Donations to the Cancer Assistance Program, Margaret’s Place or a charity of your choice in Ron's name would be appreciated.
