Roberts, Edward Joseph Leonard ‘Ted’
January 3 1937 - September 22 2023
We are saddened to announce the passing of our dear husband, father, Papa, and great grandfather Edward Joseph Leonard Roberts. Son of the late Leonard and Pearl Roberts, brother of Doreen McLean (Al) and brother-in-law to Helen and the late Bert Roberts. Cherished husband of Gail for 63 years, devoted father to Carolee Loube (Mark), Brian (Carol), loving Papa to Joel (Julie), Jake (Rachel), Chelsea (Brandon), Maggie (Joe), Julia (Brett) and Joseph. Proud great grandpa to Ella, Zoey, Adele, Grayson and Miles.
Ted was very active in the community through many organizations including 60 years with the St.George Lions Club, St.George United Church, St.George Garden Club, Russell Heights and others.
Ted worked at Massey Ferguson as an industrial engineer for many years, Hussmans, Burlington Technologies and the Tim Hortons foundation in his retirement years. Ted enjoyed his community involvement, gardening, wood working, tinkering, camping, golfing, watching sports and spreading his good humour.
Visitation and funeral services will be held at McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road N, Brantford, ON, on Tuesday September 26th, with the visitation at 1pm and funeral to follow at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. George United Church or St. George Lions Club. Memories and Condolences may be shared with the family at mccleisterfuneralhome.ca
