Sales, Larry

Peacefully at Sakura House Larry (Lawrence) Arthur Sales went to be with Jesus with his wife at his side, early Thursday morning, May 12, 2022. Proud father and grandfather of Brad & Darda Sales (Dezmin-Peter, Maclyn, Quinlyn) and Emily & Nathan Mol (Andrew, Sierra). Survived by his wife of 43 years Sylvia (nee Barrie). Predeceased by his mother Margaret, father Maurice, brother & sister in law Tom & Donna Sales, and sister Helayne Rivard. Survived by his brother-in-law, Marcel Rivard and his sister Ruth Ann Rhea and his Sales family nieces and their families. In recent years he re-connected with many of his first cousins, which brought him great joy. Larry thoroughly enjoyed being with Barrie sisters - Shirley (deceased) and her husband Ken Chubb, Marlene & Reg Eglisson, Liz Barrie & John Wilkin along with their children and grandchildren.

Larry was a dedicated public-school teacher, vice principal and Principal. He enjoyed many years of being a Woodstock Choralaire. An active Lion's Club member for over 45 years, Larry held many district, provincial and one national position during his lifetime. He was District Governor for A-15from 1988-1989. Larry had previously been actively involved with Berean Bible Church and for the past 16 years he has enjoyed the fellowship Oxford Baptist Church.

Arrangements have been made by the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home. The wearing of masks is appreciated for visitation 2-4 & 6-8 Friday, May 13th and the for the funeral Saturday, May14th at 11am, being held in the chapel at Brock and Visser (Live Stream will be available on the funeral home website). There will be no reception following the service. Interment will be in Tillsonburg for immediate family only. Larry's request was that if donations were being made in his memory that you please consider Oxford Baptist Church Building Fund, or Sweaburg Lions Club.
