Wayne Robson
Passed away peacefully, with family by his side, on Friday March 18, at the age of 78. Loving husband and best friend of Ev (Ambrose) for 57 years. Cherished father of Brian (Karen) and Kevin (Jill). Proud poppa of Emily, Samuel, Madison, Alexandra and Gabe. Adored brother of Sharon (Bob) and Janis. Predeceased by his brother in law, Elliot, as well as his parents, Charles and Lorna Robson. Wayne will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, and those whose lives he touched.

Wayne was very proud to have spent 32 years owning and operating a successful dairy farm with Ev. He enjoyed 19 years with Conestogo Agri Systems. He served the community with the Lions Club for over 30 years, and was a founding member of the 1st Belwood Cub and Scout Group. Wayne was a dedicated member at St. John’s United Church in Belwood and served on the Church Board, holding various positions. He was an avid participant in the Terry Fox run for 25 years and was the Belwood correspondent for Fergus/Elora News Express.

Visitation will be held at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus on Friday March 25, 2022 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at St. John’s United Church, 28 Queen Street, Belwood on Saturday March 26, 2022 at 11:30 AM, followed by a reception at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Wayne's memory may be made to the Belwood Lions Club or St. John's United Church in Belwood.
