With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Floyd Everett McCaw on June 14, 2024, in his 81st year, following a brief battle with cancer. In his final moments he was surrounded by the love and support of his family. Loving father of Sherri (Mike), Tammy (Terry) and Scott (Tricia). Special Papa to Brandon and Ethan. Survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his wife Shelia, parents Albert and Rita and brothers Jack and James. Floyd was a dedicated employee in the retail/self employment field for many years. He was a dedicated volunteer through the local Lions Clubs. He served as District President through Lions International and earned a Life Membership for more than 55 years of service. Special thanks to the staff at the John Noble home on Grand Terrace and Brant Terrace. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Legere and Shannon Bailey for excellent care.
Friends will be welcomed at the DWAYNE D. BUDGELL Funeral Home, 1105 Rest Acres Road, on Thursday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday June 21, 2024 at 1 p.m. Pastor Terry Ciona of Pleasant Valley Church will officiate. A Lions Club Memorial Tribute will be held at the beginning of the Service. Floyd’s service will be live streamed starting at 12:50 p.m. In Floyd’s memory, donations to the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides would be appreciated by the family.
