District Leadership

I am currently working on ideas and ways to assist with the encouragement and participation of our Lions for District Leadership roles. We have been facing this challenge over the past few years, how do we present this in such a way to not overwhelm Lions but at the same time present District Leadership as another form of "service". I have heard of the time commitment as well as the financial commitment being an obstacle for some. We have great Leadership Learning venues through LCI as well as through our GLT/GMT Team leaders as well. I know there are potential leaders out there, we just have to find a way to reach them and encourage them to step forward.
